this outstanding hand painted lacquer box made of papier-mache (a bottom) and moher of pearl of an abalone shell (a lid), nicely decorated with natural shells , tempera, gold, lacquer, hinged, signed on the bottom.
some patches are effect of flashing and reflection, the box looks perfect in person
